Songs for Musicals

These "show tunes" empower children and provide a forum for children’s creative expression. Selected songs are offered for a range of ages and ability levels, and showcase the beauty of children. The songs speak for themselves, coming alive in children rather than in descriptions here.

Songs can stand alone or be strung together to create a choral review or musical, with or without script, costumes, or scenery. Punctuate these songs with movement, add an occasional prop, and tailor-make a musical to suit your children, your educational priorities, and your time constraints. These songs have been used with children from kindergarten through eighth grade in the classroom, chorus, and multi-aged community settings.
