The CCS Curriculum includes a collection of more than 500 playful music learning activities for the classroom. The activities were developed at the Come Children Sing Institute from 1984-1995, and evolved from classroom research on the process of music learning. The activities were an integral part of the Come Children Sing Institute sequential music curriculum, and were designed for all ages and stages of children from birth through 13. The CCS Curriculum provides for music the kind of natural playful environment in which children learn language. Abundant activities are provided for every level of music learning. These activities for the classroom inspired “Playing Music” in the home application of Online Music Classes. Early drafts of activities were written in 1987-1997 and are posted here.
