This seminar addresses the progression of the musical mind from aural beginnings to rhythm and tonal syllables to music reading and writing. The four two-hour videos make the direct connection between sound, syllables, and symbols, using rhythm and tonal syllables that both reinforce the aural and facilitate the connection to music reading. Video demonstrations take participants through extensive music reading materials that increase in difficulty as children grow. Participants will receive an e-book of the Come Children Sing Institute Music Reading Library—a 360 page resource of music reading materials that can be used with children of all ages at various levels of development.
During the two-week seminar, participants in this seminar will also have access to an abundance of materials in the Online Teacher Education Center as well as the Come Children Sing Institute SONG LIBRARY. Access to this course and materials will terminate two weeks from the date of purchase. Bonus Materials for continuing education will be accessible after the two weeks and include recordings, videos, and posts written in follow-up to this seminar.
